  Aging- Delighting to endure

In the midst of highs and lows,
A journey that we all go through;
Aging, a path we shy away from the knows,
Love it hate for all the crew.

Chasing it seems to look,
From childhood to adulthood;
Best lives that we don't yearn to hook,
To the gaudy lives we dream for good;

In the midst of day's and night's'
Do we forget our blossoming hues?
Etched in laughers and tears;
Do we perceive only our maturing blues?

Oh! how determined and valiant are we today,
But yet looks at the mirror, for our reflection to stay;
Do know, it fades away with grace,
As, we leave behind no fears to trace.

So lets renounce the yesterday and embrace the tomorrow,
Of growing old and bolds;
Unveil our beauty by the joys and sorrows,
For our aging, love it and embrace it, as it unfolds.

Gentle parenting

  Never thought I would say this. But gentle parenting is tough. Period.  We read a lot about gentle parenting and am convinced that its more demanding in practice than in theory. After all, we are not parenting a human-shaped toy. We get to deal with actual human beings who can yell at the top of their lungs and flop on to the floor as though the cold floor gives them the warmth of a blanket, all because of a simple two letter word "NO"! A "NO" that's it. Not sure why children despise that word so much, although it appears vulnerable and assertive to the adults at the same time. For starters, parenting in itself is one of most exhausting phases of life, let alone the "gentle". It often feel like you need the mindfulness, resilience and patience of a monk to deal with this.
